Speed Sparring is 2-3h of intense and meaningful networking that avoids the “awkward dull small talk” typical for such events. 

We invite INSEAD MBAs, INSEAD Alumni and people with interesting backgrounds from our networks. A couple of startups present an issue they wanna “sparr” about. We divide into groups of 3-4 and sparr. The startup collects the results. We switch/mingle after 35min to the next startup. Afterwards: Dinner and drinks altogether. 

We did this before and we know: Chances are that by the end of the evening we’ll have learnt something new and made great new connections – which wouldn’t necessarily have happened had it been just be another networking event.

How to get from Schönefeld Airport (Berlin SXF) to the city centre: Take the ABC ticket (!) and hop on the regional train to Alexanderplatz. From there you can use that same ABC ticket to travel to your hotel using S-Bahn and U-Bahn. Googlemaps can give you the directions.

We recommend you buy two or three day AB tickets for Berlin public transport with which you can use S-bahn, U-bahn, regional trains, tram and busses. Click here.

We try to organise the trek at the lowest cost possible. So far the ticket price is zero, but depending on how much we might have to pay for catering or rooms, this might increase. Needless to say that you will be informed in advance.
